Vs Cage of Eden

So most of you have probably read Cage of Eden. And for those who haven't, read it!!! Its a adventure mystery manga. The main maystery is really obvious but the final chapter still blew my mind!!!!
So it starts off and its time for that famous trip that every japanese schools go on. Which is BS because up here we just went down the street or went to see a play. The biggest trip we went on was Ottawa. Waste of time.

But back to rant. So they are all on the plane. And heres where you start to see all the relationships between people. And all of a sudden it looks like something with a beak breaks the plane mid air and they crash onto an island. Everyone goes in to a panic and they start attacking each other and raping people. The pilot even gets stabbed. And then they all seperate. But what they all quickly learn is that they are not alone on this island. This Island belongs to the dead. Because every animal on that animals is supposed to be extinct. Now there are no dinosaurs on this island. They are all creatures after that. Like sabor tooth cats and things of that nature. Even the plants on this island are supposed to be extinct. So they climb up the hill to try and find a better view of where they are. And the notice that this isnt some little island that no one would notice, this was a massize island. and off in the distance they see what looks to be a radio tower, maybe not a radio tower but clearly something made by man.

What is this place? Who made that tower? And why hasnt help come for them if they are on such a huge island??

Vs Doubt

Hey, sorry internet. I know I havent posted in awhile I've just been making huge moves in my outside life. I am going to try and stay more daily since we have a lot of ground to cover.
First off.
DOUBT

This is the only manga that I have bought all of it. Granted it was only 2 books and the only reason why I dont own all of pysren is because they arent all out yet, but besides that.
Doubt is a amazing!! Its a mystery/ pyscological manga. Ive already read it a bunch of times and it still surprises me with things i either didnt notice or forgot.
The premise is that all these people that dont know each other all meet up to play this game called doubt. How you play is that all the players are rabbits, but one of the players is a wolf in rabbits clothing. And every single night he eats one of the rabbits. So for the rabbits to win they need to kill the wolf.
So before they play the game, they all go out for karoke to get to know each other. But one by one they are all knocked out and awaken in a dark room by themselves and all have a barcode tattooed onto them other then the main character. And it seems that all the barcodes can open up 1 room in this building they seem to be locked in.

I could talk about this manga for days but I wont because then I would be a huge dick.

Vs Rave Master

Hey! I know its been 2 days since I posted something. Not that anyone right now is keeping track. For those of you who are reading which should be 100% of you, because its awesome. Hiro the author, has other older work as well. Called 'Rave Master" and everything in it foreshadows Fairy Tail!! All the characters in it are in Fairy Tail (expect for a few) but the ones that are, are exactly the same people.

The main Character Haru is pretty well the same person as Natsu from Fairy Tail. 2 major differences are Haru uses a transforming Sword which is called "Ten Commandments". Which (you guessed it) is a lot like Erza Knightwalker's Magic. And Natsu is a lot dumber and more destructive then Haru.
Seig Hart is Jellel. They have blue hair and the same tattoo. They are also crazy strong don't know where their limit caps off. They are shrouded in mystery and both seem to be the major bad guy at the start. They are both workaholics and seems to be emotionless.
Hamrio Muscia is Rave masters version of Grey. No Hamrio doesn't randomly strip naked, but he is Haru's main rival/ friend. Hamrio can manipulate Silver. This doesn't count as magic in this world because its not something anyone can learn; a lot like a kekkei genkai. He has the same personality as Grey and like Grey meets a girl who can use the same ability has him that is evil, Renia. Difference is Hamrio falls in love with her. And Renia being Ultear sacrifices herself and in doing so saves Hamrio/ Grey.
In the world of Rave Master, almost no one has or uses magic. They use enchanted weapons called Dark Bring (yes they are made by the evil dude). The range of these items are endless. They could do anything. One guy has a dark bring that makes explosions anywhere he wants as long as he knows the coordinates.
This manga is about Haru becoming the Rave Master and saving the world and throughout his adventure gains more and more places he goes. Its such an amazing manga and you can really tell that its the same author just from the writing style and art style. And the ending is soooooooo good!! Everything wraps up nicely, and leaves everything settled!! Although for readers that hate tragic endings, brace yourself. Because even though story wise the ending of this is perfect! It's Romeo and Juliet tragic. Till the extra last chapter where it was obvious that he added that to change the ending for the readers! I cried first time I read this! It's beautiful.

All in all, I would give Rave Master a 9/10, and a must read for those that are reading Fairly Tail and loving every moment of it!!

Vs Veritas

What up world!! Today I wanted to talk about a manga called Veritas. So far I feel like I have only been talking about manga's that no body has ever even heard of but that trend is going to keep going!!
Veritas is a classic supernatural fighting manga. Its about these groups of people that have Ki in their body and are able to use ancient fighting techniques that involve supernatural abilties.
SIDENOTE:
I have never understood the difference between supernatural and superpower when it comes to manga description. I under stand how supernatural are abilities that come naturally and superpower are artificially but in some cases it seems like the switch a lot. If someone could explain it too me that would be awesome!
BACK TO RANT
So the main character, Gangryong, is picked up as the apprentice of one of these people that have mastered their respective fighting style. His name is Youcheon and he uses lightning. Yea that's his marital art. Lightning attacks. So for those that love lightning element. READ THIS MANGA. Youcheon acts and seems like Chun-Woo from the Breaker. And in a lot of ways it is very similar to the Breaker and the Breaker: New Waves. Because as soon as Gangryong learns the basic Youcheon just leaves and dies. So then Gangryong is invited to this school where everyone has abilities like his but unlike everyone else his master was a living legend and said to be one of the strongest people ever. So a lot of people don't like him because he is just some random off the street.

And unlike everyone else Gangryong is almost the only person without artificial Ki. Just about everyone has had artificial Ki injected into them so they will be stronger and be able to revive their fighting style and improve on it as well.
There is also this one dick ass family that runs the school and demands (pretty much) that everyone pools in their knowledge so that everyone with in the school has access to their fighting style. And of course there is a group of students that are fighting against this rule.
Gangryong is sooooo awesome! He is very short tempered and extremely cocky even though he spends his first few weeks just getting beaten up by just about everyone. Which he then turns around and can quickly judge peoples ability level.
So now its a lot like New Waves where he is on his own and he cant learn anything more from his master other then watching videos and using his memory.
Veritas is awesome!! Because the plot has very little to do with the main character. The main plot going on a the school has been in the works for a long time now and unlike most manga where the introduction of the main character stirs up everything. In this manga (even though for a long time it looks like it does) it doesn't. As soon as you get to the end where the whole story gets flipped on his head.
As awesome and funny this manga is. The ending blows only because it leaves you with a cliff hanger for Veritas II. Which sadly has yet to come out

All in all, I would say Veritas is a 8/10
There are only 81 chapters so it's pretty short too.

Vs Akumetsu

Have you guys read this manga yet? Since I live up in the great white north I have no idea if this manga is popular or not! But what I do know is this manga is unreal!!! Everything about this manga blows my mind!! The way the author was able to play the main character Shou as a super serious character but at the same time soo funny and laid back is unreal! And most authors don't even bother to explain their characters as much as you get to know Shou.
For those of you that have no idea what manga I'm talking about. Akumetsu. Read it now. Don't even bother listening to me talk about it! Just read it as soon as possible!!

Shou is a just a normal dude with above average dreams (classic main character) who lives in modern day Japan. This manga really talks about everything that is wrong with the economy and how our government is run, mainly in Japan but it could be anywhere.
So Shou finally discovers he has an ability. To be able to come back to life after dying and to be in more then one place at once. So using this new found ability he decides to become Akumetsu, who is an assassin and kills people that are truly evil. Then kills himself after. But then always shows up to school the next day some how!
People got really excited about Attack on Titan because of its original story and artwork, which is one of my favourite manga myself. But Akumetsu's storyline and plot is way more then original. Its a extremely basic plot line. To kill those who are evil, but spun on a completely original way. Like a whole V for Vendetta kind of deal! Everyone he kills are real people living in the world today. And he doesn't go after felons and convicts. Shou targets the real evil people that steal money from peoples taxes and live in castles and wont go to jail because of their high political status.
This is the kind of manga that makes you re-think your life!!!

Vs Psyren

Hey today I wanted to do something a little different then my last post. See with my last post since it was a romance tragedy, all I can really do is talk about what happens and the plot its probably kind of boring and sucks for people that wanted to read it.
So today I wanted to talk about the first manga I ever finished! I am currently 2 books away from owning them all too.

Psyren is about a boy named Ageha that gets pulled into a apocalyptic world for reasons. And his one goal is to make it to a pay phone and he gets to leave. And every time he hears a ring go off he needs to answer a pay phone or he dies, in the real world. If he talks to any one that isn't involved with this he will also die.
So after his first time coming back from that place, his nose bleeds which means that he has now gained superpowers. Everyone that goes there gets the same 3 types of powers but everyone specialises in them differently. The first one is called Bust. Which is everything involving elements; fire, water, etc. The second is called Rise. Which is everything involving physical abilities; strength, speed, reflexes. Then the third is called Trance. Which is everything involving mental abilities; telekinesis, mind reading, etc.
This set up for abilities is soooooo awesome because everyone has the same deck of cards to choose from but everyone has things they are better at then others, like in real life. Not everyone is good at running even though we can all do it!!
Me personally I would totally train in Burst for just raw energy, so I could shoot lazerbeams. That way I could kill people and monsters without even taking a step. I would then train in Trance for being able to manipulate peoples eye sight. And I don't mean make people hallucinate. I would make people so they are blind or see everything inverted. And finally but in all seriousness would probably be the first thing I train in is Rise. I would want to be able to move extremely quickly, so I could do flash steps and stuff like that!!!
So in summary I strongly suggest you read Psyren!! There are not enough manga out there that are creative enough to create their own unique story lines and plots! But Psyren's story is very unique and just awesome!!

Vs. Boku No Hatsukoi Wo Kimi Sasagu

So this will be my first real entry, and I thought it would be appropriate for me to talk about a manga that none of my friends will read but I felt was totally unreal and so well done.
You have probably already guessed what's called because its the name of the post "Boku No Hatsukoi Wo Kimi Sasagu"!!!

This manga is about a boy with a extremely weak heart, Takuma, so he spends most of his days in the hospital. He quickly befriends a the daughter of his doctor, Mayu. After becoming best friends from hanging out every day in the hospital, Mayu over hears her Dad talking to Takuma's parents about the fact that Takuma will not live past the age of 20. Devastated Mayu tries everything she can to help him get better, things like black magic and four leafs clovers but nothing seems to work. So to inspire hope into him she promises to marry him! (they are like 8 at the time)

One of the best starts to a manga ever!!!!!
So they start going to school together with everyone in there school knowing that they are engaged already. And every time someone picks on Mayu, Takuma always tries his best to defend her even though he physically cant endure it. So these events are always bringing Takuma in and out of the hospital.
And like all Japanese schools they always have an awesome school trip, unlike our schools in Canada, we just go down the street.
So Takuma having to do check ups still, he goes to a different doctor where the doctor lets it slip that he wont live past 20 and learns everyone was keeping this info from him. Takuma now realises his greatest mistake, he made a promise to Mayu he can't keep. He couldn't bare with that he Mayu would be faithfully be in love with him for over 10 years only to have him die when their adult life started.
Takuma decides to go to a boarding middle school and doesn't tell Mayu in a hope to run away from her so she will forget about him. But one morning when she comes to pick him up for school she is greeted by his mother who is furious at her because she thinkings he is leaving to the boarding school to run off with Mayu (his mom is nuts btw).
At the ceremony for the middle school the floor is given to the 1st years representative person, who is of course Mayu and her speech in tales her yelling at Takuma for trying to run away.
For a while their relationship entails of Takuma running away from her and Mayu trying to win him over. This of course makes the student president, Kou, of this school interested in Mayu and he starts to go after her.
THIS IS WHERE SHIT GETS REAL!!!!
A random girl to the story who they know from the hospital who has the same condition as Takuma only better, confesses to Takuma and he says yes in hopes it will scare off Mayu and because he doesn't wanna say no to her and kill her from the shock. (this chick is a bitch btw, she fakes heart attacks to get what she wants) But after a while Mayu tells Takuma that she will wait for him under the bridge where she got four leaf covers for him if he doesn't show she will forget about him forever.
He decides to break it off with random girl. But when he breaks up with her she dies and so he spends the rest of the day at the hospital in shock that she died. So when he finally gets to the bridge he is too late and she is making out with Kou.
My heart sunk!! I know I'm a guy and its not the most mainly to admit this, but think back to when Ace died during One Piece and you know what I'm talking about!!!
So after this happens he continues to tell everyone that he is still with the hospital girl so that Mayu will stay with Kou. But one day Mayu goes home and she talks to her dad who tells her that the hospital chick died. She then confronts him as soon as possible but it appears that nothing will change his mind.
Years go by and Mayu and Kou are broken up, but they all still see each other in high school. Takuma's heart is now a lot better but still goes for check ups every once and while. Takuma is obviously still in love with Mayu and trying to run away but cant seem to do it completely. Then finally Takuma gives in to her and it appears they will finally have a happy ever after. But it seems he can only make her cry and his health takes a turn for the worse and has to start thinking about heart transplant. And it becomes very apparent that Mayu is the reason why his heart is starting to deteriorate because she is constantly putting pressure on him, like telling him to have sex with her and kiss her. So now the tables have turned and she tries to get away from him!
Takuma completely changes his out look on life and does all the stuff that might kill him because he realises that if he takes it easy at best he lives the rest of his life in the hospital, which sucks!!!!
This entire time this happens all you can do is cheer for Takuma!! A lot like when Perona cheers on Usopp from One Piece http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcQpFZOsqz8
And this is where your heart really starts to get into the manga!!!
Just wanna say . . . THIS MANGA IS SOOOOOOOO WELL DONE!!! Classic love story but just perfect to a T!
Because now it looks like every thing is perfect for these two! But its far from it because now the only thing on Takuma's mind is marriage. But how can he possibly marry her when he's going to die. And one fateful night they sneak out of school and go to a different town to get matching charms, so they end up staying the night in a hotel and finally do it! Then Takuma wakes up and Mayu isn't there, he finds her outside staring at the moon begging that Takuma wont die!!
This puts such a spin the relationship they have because both people know this story will not end well!!

Pilot!!

Hello People of the Internet that are currently not paying attention to this because this is my very first post.
My name is Andrew, and I have decided to start a blog where I want to just express my feelings towards different manga's. Instead of phoning my friends about them who haven't even read it yet. So this way I figure that someone else out there must have read it as well. I will also probably post character fantasies (like what kind of Kanpakuto would I want) and my current ideas on who manga will end (like the fact I think Naruto will end up with his and Sasuke kissing)
I hope you enjoy it and feel free to comment on your ideas about the manga I'm talking about as well. If I wanted to talk to my self I would go to a mirror not to a blog.
